8 THINGS TO DO IN NUSA LEMBONGAN AND CENINGAN
Ceningan
Yellow Bridge:
The famous yellow bridge is one spot you can't miss whilst on these islands. Whilst it seems only wide enough to be a footpath, people do ride motorbikes across to get between the islands so if you're confident enough to ride one, this is a great way to explore the islands yourself.
Blue Lagoon:
You think you have seen blue water before? Think again! This place is the most unbelievable spot to check out whilst you're on the islands and there is also a spot to cliff jump too!
Check out our Instagram post to find out what we interrupted when we visited the Blue Lagoon...
The Sand Restaurant and Swings:
The clearest water we have ever seen... and so much of it!! This place is the absolute dream if you want a day to relax, have a few cocktails and chill on a hammock for the day. Added bonus; they have the MOST instagrammable swings!
Secret Beach:

Want to spend some time alone? Head down to Secret Beach! Whilst it does cost 35k to enter beach and 100k to use infinity pool, it is the definition of reclusive. It feels like quite a road to nowhere on your way there and the path continues to get thinner and thinner however you're on the right track, it will open up to a beautiful, peacefull spot!
Dream Beach:
Dream beach really is a dream... a restaurant with an infinity pool looking right over the water, bean bags on the sand and lovely clear waters. The only thing that would make this place even better would be if you could actually swim in the sea😂 the water here is pretty rough but the beach is worth it anyway.
Just down from the car park you can also spot the famous dream beach swing and snap your shot over the beach!
It's 50k per person to use the infinity pool but it's free at happy hour from 4pm onwards.
Lembongan
Devil's Tear:
Beautiful but dangerous.
You could stand and watch the water at this place all day: it's mesmerising! The cliff sucks in the water and spits it out in a great mist that covers the water, making it look like a potion from a witches cauldron or the 'devil's tears'. If you're lucky enough, and the light is right, a dreamy rainbow is created as the mist spurts above the blue water. We visited at around 8am and we saw the rainbow. Although this water looks super inviting, it is rough and very dangerous
The Infinity Pool at Devils Tear:

You may have seen photos from the infinity pool at devils tear. When we saw it, it seemed really calm and we were really tempted to go down and get the shot too. Seconds later, the biggest wave we have ever seen appeared from no where, covering the entire pool and covering us, over 20 metres away from the pool at the top of the cliff. We dread to think what would have happened if we had actually chosen to go down there minutes earlier. The water is so unpredictable that we would have been half way to Madagascar now by!
Sunset Point - Sandy Bay Beach Club:
This is the absolute best place to chill as the sun goes down. This place also has an infinity pool and serves great food. You can walk through the gates right onto the beach in the perfect position for the sunset. It's got a great vibe.
Take a Kayak up Mangrove Forest Lake:

Tranquil waters and luscious greenery, this place truly is the place to go if you want to relax. We got a boat ride through mangrove forest lake and then on to Nusa Penida and we saw loads of people having fun paddle boarding and kayaking in this lake.
Scuba Diving:

Nusa is one of the best places for a scuba diving course as it's super cheap compared to everywhere else and you also get the added bonus of swimming with manta rays!
We did a lot of research on the Scuba Diving in Lembongan and even decided on the company we were going to do it with. Unfortunately we misjudged the time that we had on Lembongan but we have decided to do it when we next return.
Thank you so much for reading, we hope to see you over at @followintheirfootsteps soon!
Lots of love,
